Camp Pacific is an advertising agency based in Vancouver, BC. It is home to a restless team of creative doers and resourceful navigators, guides in a changing business landscape.

As lead designer I created the Camp Pacific identity and helped bring the brand to life through a comprehensive design system and a range of touchpoints. The work was done in collaboration with Camp Jefferson, our sister agency in Toronto. Our task: create unique identities that could live as siblings, united under one banner while maintaining distinction to meet agency specific needs.

The Camp Pacific brand is the embodiment of our aspirations to take the path less traveled and guide others through uncharted territory. It is a picture of those who forge their own path, authoring the maps and leaving the trails to seek new terrain.

Exploration was key to the discovery phase as well. A well developed brand platform doesn't happen overnight, so multiple concepts were tested, distilled, adapted and refined to arrive at the visual language and personality we wanted to evoke.

A system of graphic elements helped our team to hit the ground running when creating new communication pieces and gave us the freedom to evolve the brand further where needed. The visual language and messaging is meant to evoke a sense of adventure and purpose; an appeal to forge one's own path and strive for betterment in our work and in ourselves. The result was an ever-growing suite of brand collateral that struck a firm balance between utilitarian and aspirational design.
